Oregon Inlet Fishing Center
Captain Duke docks at the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. We are located 8 miles south of Whalebone Junction on NC 12 at the north end of the Oregon Inlet Bridge in the beautiful Cape Hatteras National Seashore.
She is a 36-foot Bruno Stillman and cruises to the inshore ground at a smooth 19 knots.
There are 4 chairs in the cockpit, a stand of electronics, full tackle for trolling, bottom fishing, and light tackle casting, and plenty of room down below.
The "Captain Duke" offers a comfortable and roomy ride for some outstanding fishing action!
Enjoy trolling in the summer months with catches of Spanish and King Mackerel, plus Taylor Blues.
Inshore fishing (in the sound and up to 2 to 3 miles off the ocean beach) produces catches of Striped Bass, Spanish Mackerel, Taylor Blues, Spot, Flounder, Trout, and Croaker.
Enjoy casting and trolling for Stripers in the late fall and winter months with the comfort of a heated cabin.
The "Captain Duke" is licensed to carry a maximum of 6 people.
We provide all bait, tackle, and ice.
You must bring your food and drinks.
We welcome your own tackle (favorite or lucky rod, fly rod, or preferred equipment).

What You Need to Bring
You need to bring: lunch, snacks, beverages, cooler, sunscreens, sunglasses, camera and film or tapes, foulweather gear and seasonal clothing. Motion sickness medicine can be inexpensive insurance to make sure you have a good fishing trip. Consult with your physician.
